Day 3

On the road again at 7:19am. Heading to Leesburg, VA to spend 1.5 days with bro & fam.

Stopped outside Meridian for lunch at Arby's. Slowes service ever. The two shift managers were fighting.

Day 2

On the road again. Leaving Best West in Vicksburg, MS. About 410 mi to GA.

Done for day 1

I passed all the way through LA with no issue and have stopped in Vicksburg, MS for the night.

The most frequently seen thing in LA was dead armadillos and big trucks passing me. I decided to travel at 55-60 mph this trip to get better MPG and felt smug as pickups and SUVs passed me at 70-90. I also enjoyed seeing the same pimped up red and black Lincoln pass me twice and get pulled over twice.

Lunch break

I'm stopped for lunch at my fav sandwich place. Gas will be purchased and back will be stretched. No issues with travel so far. I am a little way along I-20E.

Departure

I leave Harker Height, TX at 9:30am on April 27. One last minute house fix was filling some screw holes where our kitchen gate had been.

With a packed car I head NE to rid myself of Texas.
