Oops. iPhone App Store.

My wife got her iPhone 3GS yesterday and was browsing the app store. She said, "Hey cool! A tip calculator" and purchased it. She, unlike myself, does not listen to tech podcasts nor read tech blogs so she was unaware that the TIP CALCULATOR was the most abundant app when the iPhone App store first opened. It was only .99 but I told her there were probably 2,000 free options (many probably better) than the one she purchased.

At least she didn't buy the "I AM RICH" app. LOL.

A lot going on in the world of crappy PCs today!

 

This is the verification service that checks email certificates on emails I recieve.  When this is not working correctly, each email can take upwards of 30 seconds to finally open.

I daily ask myself WHY my IT folks think PC us less work than the Mac they took away from me.

Annoying Pop-up

Since they took away all the Macs at work, I have been getting this persistent pop-up on my new computer.  It frequently breaks my email connection or loses other network accessible resources.  The printer support is sketchy.  It has severely decreased my previous level of productivity that I enjoyed with MAC OS X.

 

I have figured out the name of the pop-up:
